The Lambeth Pension Fund is run by Lambeth Council.
This means that Lambeth Council is the "administering authority" in the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations.
The Council has set up the Lambeth Pension Fund Committee to make decisions and take responsibility for management of the fund.
Administering authorities have to act in the interests of all employers, members and their dependants within the fund. The role of the administering authority is very similar to that of a trustee.
The Lambeth Pensions Services at Lambeth Council look after the day to day running of the fund.
