Supports local authorities in their human resources role. They do this by providing expert advice and information on people management and development in local government, and leading the formulation of policy on some employer issues.

Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC)

The UK Government Department responsible for policy areas in respect of housing, communities and local government in England.  Previously known as the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).

Age UK

Citizens Advice

ACCESS

The Government is encouraging LGPS Funds to work together to put forward plans to “pool investments to significantly reduce costs, while maintaining investment performance”.  In response eleven like-minded LGPS Funds are working together under the name of ACCESS (A Collaboration of Central, Eastern and Southern Shires). (pdf)
